โœ… +EV CALL โ€” You should call!
The Math: With AA โ€” Pocket Aces against 2 player, your equity is ~85.3%. You need 20.0% equity to break even (pot odds). Since 85.3% > 20.0%, calling is profitable long-term.

๐Ÿ“ Pot Odds vs Hand Equity: The Core Concept

Pot Odds = the price the pot is offering you to call. If the pot is $100 and you must call $50, you are getting 3:1 odds (you need to win 25% of the time to break even).

Hand Equity = the percentage of the time your hand wins at showdown.

The rule is beautifully simple: If your equity is higher than your pot odds, calling is profitable.

Example: You hold Aโ™ Kโ™  against one opponent. Your equity is ~67%. The pot is $200 and the bet is $100. Pot odds = $100/$300 = 33%. Since 67% > 33%, this is a massively +EV call.

๐Ÿ’ฐ Why 72 Offsuit Is Not Always a Fold

Seven-Two offsuit is the worst hand in poker (~34.6% equity heads-up). But poker is not a game of hand strength โ€” it is a game of price.

If you are in the big blind with 72o and the pot is $200 with only $5 to call, your pot odds are 2.4%. Even 72o wins far more than 2.4% of the time, making this call +EV by $63+.

This is why understanding pot odds matters more than memorizing hand rankings.
